Meet laura.

Laura is an embodiment facilitator who is also a somatic psychotherapist, counsellor, mover, yoga teacher & bodyworker with more than a decade of experience in body-based therapies. She supports individuals who are seeking to transform stress, trauma, anxiety, overwhelm, PTSD and depression through a somatic & a spiritually-oriented approach to therapy and embodiment practices. This work also helps Laura to stay centred, humbled and connected to her path.

Laura describes herself as empathetic, open minded, grounded, kind-hearted, authentic and a deep listener.  Above all, Laura is dedicated to love, self-empowerment, inspiration, service and connection.

Laura loves to be of service to others and witness them heal themselves, realising that they don’t have to be stuck and can come back to alignment and healing in a grounded way.

You don’t have to navigate this alone. Together we will explore your feelings and sensations, helping you gain a deeper understanding of what is causing your symptoms and how to self regulate.

I will hold space for your fears, providing you with a safe, judgment-free zone whilst offering you somatic and embodied tools to regulate your nervous system and reconnect back to your authentic self so that you can bring more ease, vitality and joy into your life.

therapeutic Approach

Laura’s forte is working with the body-mind from a somatic and embodied approach - from “bottom up” rather than “top down” – by reducing stress and anxiety physiologically, through changing the autonomic nervous system and discharging trauma, rather than just using a cognitive or talk-therapy approach. She believes that by working together, you will recover abandoned parts of yourself and embody the inner resources needed to move through life with greater empowerment.

This work may involve a synthesis of talk therapy, visualisation, somatic experiencing, movement therapy, craino-sacral therapy, breath work, ritual, dream-work, art and sound.

Her aim is to empower and support you on your journey while offering somatic resources and tools to transform and build capacity to be with what is arising for you.
